NEWSO is an international electro-pop duo blending vibrant synth-pop melodies with energetic drum & bass pulses. Their sonic identity oscillates between uplifting, ethereal vocals and danceable electronic production.
Formed in 2025, the duo consists of Nils O’Swald (composition, keys, production) and Alexandra Llorens (vocals & bass). Their cross-border collaboration brings influences from Germany and France into a fresh, experimental pop project.
Their songs range from introspective dream-pop to tracks that command the dance floor, always aiming to bridge emotional resonance and rhythmic momentum.

NEWSO est un duo électro-pop international qui mélange des mélodies synth-pop vibrantes à des rythmes drum & bass énergiques. Leur identité sonore oscille entre des voix éthérées et exaltantes et une production électronique dansante.
Formé en 2025, le duo est composé de Nils O’Swald (composition, claviers, production) et Alexandra Llorens (chant et basse). Leur collaboration transfrontalière apporte des influences allemandes et françaises à un projet pop frais et expérimental.
Leurs chansons vont de la dream pop introspective à des morceaux qui envahissent les pistes de danse, visant toujours à créer un pont entre la résonance émotionnelle et l’élan rythmique.
“FICTIONAL MEMORIES” is out now. This debut album features the amazing singer and musician Melissa Wedekind on vocals, as well as my brother Julian O’Swald on the guitar. Its a collage of small ideas that I’ve collected within the last three years. Big thanks go to my other brother Moritz O’Swald, who did the mastering of all tracks.
